This project is meant to pay homage to the one of ones. The ones who see the world differently. The true innovators, thought leaders, and game-changers, those who dare greatly with unwavering commitment to their vision. They are the antithesis to mediocrity. The people that show up to do their thing. Every. Single. Day. All of them challenge the status quo. All of them strive to be great. This allows them to be different, to be cut above, to be rare.
From business magnates to cultural icons, this collection features a wide range of individuals who have left their mark in history and who conitinues to shape it from whom we can certainly learn a lot from.
There is only ONE Lebron, there is only ONE Elon. There is only ONE Em, There is only ONE Jay. There is only ONE MJ, there is only ONE Kobe. Each piece is entirely unique, with its own nuances, textures, and imperfections done with craftmanship, patience and dedication to capture and represent the essence of these icons.
Art is not just about the final product, but also the creative process. Without the multidimensionality of human creativity, artists would be limited to repeating the same old formulas and techniques. Where undifferentiated works are increasingly prevalent, especially in the NFT space and the rise of A.I., like these icons, it's more important than ever to take risks and push the boundaries of what is expected.

No final numbers yet. It takes time to create these art pieces, and as this is a tribute to these amazing people, with much respect, I do not intend on releasing something that is of inferior quality (kindly check my social media pages to see the details, and the process of how I create each piece). Every art piece is truly uique and is done by hand. With love, pride, hours upon hours of labor and the respect for the icons is always in mind.

If the owner wish to avail a signed physical card, they must shoulder the shipping fee. The card will be coming from the Philippines where I reside. It will be the same as the free video fo the purchased icon.
We personally make the hologram card, print it, sign it and ship it. They will be crafted individually by demand

Hey, I am R.A.R.E (my initials, true story). You can call me R.A., and it feels weird talking about myself.
I don’t know much and I embrace that fact. I am a skeptic to conformity. I try to be an independent thinker and to act as reasonably as I can. I like to laugh (at myself most of the time). I am an introvert, I speak 1,000 words per day, if I exceed I get tired and hungry. I am a student of Stoicism and I am not good (terrible) with social media .
I am a Fine Arts graduate, worked as a Graphic Artist, Web Designer, Ux & Ui Designer, and now a full time Motions Graphic Designer and a starving (yet extremely overweight) NFT Artist.
My goal is to create art that would make the icons happy with the piece, and hopefully do right by them. Whenever I'm creating something, I always think about how they would perceive it. I can't imagine telling Kobe, or any other icons, that I only gave 70% or 80% or even 90% of my effort into an artpiece. It’s just not acceptable.
They set their standards high and consistently work towards becoming better at their craft. As an artist and as a person, I aim to do the same and give my all in everything I create.

In addition to my proficiency in web design and development, I immersed myself in the world of NFTs (non-fungible tokens) as a collector, gamer and trader. Back in 2019, one of my online friends introduced me to the fascinating world of Web3, where blockchain technology was paving the way for innovative applications. They opened my eyes to the concept of NFT games, a groundbreaking trend that allowed players to not only enjoy gaming but also earn valuable digital assets in the process (P2E).
As I delved deeper into these NFT games, I discovered the potential for financial gain by trading NFT tokens and coins on various exchange platforms. This marked the beginning of your journey as a crypto enthusiast and trader within the Web3 ecosystem.
And I truly believe in our MISSION that NFT can make a big impact not just for artist to showcase their talent and earn from it but also to be able to help others by giving back to charities.
If you have an artwork from me, you can be sure that I spent substantial amount of time thinking and trying to do the best I can do to produce creative work.
And oh, it has my name that was given to me by my parents too. I take pride in what I create, and I wanna make sure that you, the future owner of my art, feel that same pride when you look at it.
We promise to make every effort to reach out to the icons themselves and donate 10% of the sale amount to either their chosen charity or to them or their family directly.
If this fails, the token holder will have the power to choose a legitimate charity to donate to. So either way, we're gonna make sure that a portion of the sale goes to a good cause.
The goal is to create One of Juans Foundation. A foundation that will give assistance to healthcare and livelihood opportunities to rural areas here in the Philippines.
That being said, regardless of the success of this collection, the RARE Icons team will continue to help others behind the scenes, without validation or the “clout” as the kids nowadays say.
